The theme — Campus Compass: Ignite, Explore and Propel — aimed to guide new students on building a purpose-driven academic journey and career path. The programme began with an introduction by Dr. V. Mallika, Head of the Department of Economics, followed by an enlightening introductory address by Dr. N. Mani, Director of the Institute for Social Empowerment and Research, Chennai. The highlight of the event was the address by the Chief Guest, Mr. V.N. Subramaniam, Advocate at the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi, who inspired students with his insights into legal awareness, ethics, and career development.
